Donald Trump is terrified of what Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s public testimony on Wednesday is going to do to him. How terrified? He’s ranting incoherently about Mueller. He’s got William Barr out there making nonsense moves just to placate him. And that’s just the half of it.
Tonight Donald Trump posted this bizarre tweet: “I completely read the entire Mueller Report, and do you know what I concluded after reading both Volume 1 and Volume 2? There is no there there. NO THERE THERE! We completely wasted everybody’s time and taxpayer’s money.” That quote is total nonsense from right wing pro-Trump propagandist Trish Regan. The trouble is that Trump tagged some other Trish Regan.
Trump accidentally tagged @trishregan whose has been dormant for a decade and whose bio reads “Dolphin & Whale Retreats Facilitator; Spiritual Teacher; Channel; Author; Passionate about the empowerment and upliftment of humanity!” Does this sound like a Trump supporter to you?
Eventually Donald Trump fixed his errant attribution. But the upshot is the same: if Trump truly weren’t worried about Robert Mueller’s testimony on Wednesday, he wouldn’t be trying so hard to convince us that he’s not worried about it.
