Rand Paul just found a whole new way to humiliate himself
Senator Rand Paul is someone who is an ophthalmologist, and until 2005, was licensed by the main certifying board for that profession. However in protest of a rule by that certifying board, at some point he started his own review board that included his wife and father on the certifying board. But certified or not, Paul is not a physician and has no training in infectious diseases. Nonetheless, in a hearing this week, Paul called out Dr. Anthony Fauci for grandstanding. Paul said this to Fauci:
“You’re telling everybody to wear a mask, whether they’ve had an infection or a vaccine. What I’m saying is that they have immunity, and everybody agrees they have immunity. What studies do you have that people that have had the vaccine or have had the infection or the vaccine are spreading the infection? If we’re not spreading the infection, isn’t that just theater? You’ve had the vaccine and you’re wearing two masks, isn’t that theater?”
Dr. Fauci calmly replied, “No, it’s not — here we go again with the theater. Let’s get down to the facts.” He then recited same, including variants and the importance of a mask wearing.
Rand Paul and fellow Putin lover, Senator Ron Johnson, refuse to wear masks in the Senate. Paul is disgrace and his nonsense is going to get people sick.
