Rachel Maddow just nailed it
Late last week, Rachel Maddow used her MSNBC show to call on all TV networks to stop airing Donald Trump’s dishonest, inaccurate, and dangerous press briefings live. Maddow has since been proven correct, as Trump’s false claims about a coronavirus drug have led to one person’s death. Now Maddow is nailing it again:

Do not amplify misinformation.
If someone is consistently hyping snake-oil miracle cures, or making up stories about policies that aren't real, stop putting a camera or a mic on that person as a source for information in this crisis.
Rebut lies. Tell the truth. Cite sources.
