Rachel Maddow just landed the big one
This week Lev Parnas blew up Donald Trump’s presidency by giving evidence to the House that he and Trump’s other henchmen discussed hiring local goons to target U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. This has sent shockwaves across the political landscape, just as the House is sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial. The only thing Lev could do to make things even worse for Trump right now would be to appear on the Rachel Maddow show tonight and tell the whole world about Trump’s crimes.
So guess what? Rachel Maddow just tweeted this: “Tonight! 9pm ET on MSNBC. Giuliani associate Lev Parnas breaks his silence as he and his lawyer sit down with Rachel Maddow.”
That’s right, we’re less than six hours away from Lev Parnas going on live national television and spilling the beans. Considering that Lev has been indicted on serious criminal charges, he may not be willing to discuss everything. That said, the evidence he voluntarily gave the House this week implicates him in serious new crimes, so it’s clear that Lev is willing to blow himself up in the name of blowing Donald Trump up, in the hope that it’ll lead to criminal leniency from the post-Trump Department of Justice.
