Rachel Maddow just buried Donald Trump’s presidency

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“Let’s never do these four years again,” Rachel Maddow said at the start of her MSNBC show tonight, which is of course the last night of Donald Trump’s presidency. Maddow then went on to systematically bury Trump’s failed presidency.

Maddow spent the entire first block of her show listing off every embarrassment, criminal act, impeachment, criminal liability, civil liability, financial crisis, and major scandal that Donald Trump has faced over the past four years.

After painting a broad picture of just how destroyed Donald Trump’s life is, Rachel Maddow asked him, “Was it worth it?” Making clear that these four years have gone as poorly for Trump as they have for America, she asked him, “Glad you did it? Wish you could take it back? We do.”

When Rachel Maddow’s show airs tomorrow night, Joe Biden will be President, Kamala Harris will be Vice President, and Donald Trump will be out of office and vulnerable to indictment and arrest. What a difference a day can make.
