Donald Trump has been quarantined for coronavirus
Earlier this evening, multiple major news outlets reported that Donald Trump’s adviser Hope Hicks had tested positive for coronavirus, and that she’d exposed Trump and multiple members of his family before she tested positive. Now Donald Trump is confirming the story, and he’s announced that he’s been quarantined.
Donald Trump posted this tweet: “Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!”
It’s unclear whether Donald Trump will follow a legitimate quarantine process, or if he’ll try to cheat the rules and/or fake it. But it’s nonetheless a big deal that a few days after the President of the United States tried to announce during the debate the the coronavirus was basically over, he’s now being quarantined because he’s been exposed to it.
