Mike Pence “quaking right now” as whistleblower scandal blows up in his face

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last night the Trump regime threw Mike Pence under the bus by leaking the details of his involvement in Donald Trump’s Ukraine whistleblower scandal. This prompted Palmer Report to write that it was time for Pence to decide whether he wanted to cut a resignation plea deal or go down with the ship.

Then today Mike Pence sealed his fate by calling for Joe Biden to be investigated over the phony scandal that he and Trump concocted. That led us to conclude that Pence is toast, because he’s ensured that if Trump goes down for the whistleblower scandal – and he will – Pence will go down with him. It turns out we’re not the only ones who think Pence is in deep trouble.

Elise Jordan of Time Magazine appeared on MSNBC today to discuss the scandal, and she stated that Mike Pence must be “quaking right now” over how thoroughly he’s getting sucked into this scandal.

Mike Pence has two problems. First, because he’s caught up in the same criminal scandal that’s taking Donald Trump down, there isn’t a realistic path for Pence to survive this and inherit the presidency and then hang onto it. Even if Trump resigned tomorrow and Pence landed in the Oval Office, Pence would then be credibly impeached over the whistleblower scandal. Second, because Trump is soulless and disloyal, he’s now actively trying to scapegoat Pence in the scandal.
