Putting my cards on the table

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We’re now in a place we hoped we’d never be. Call it the worst case scenario or the darkest timeline or whatever you like, but it’s not what any of us were hoping for. It’s unfair, it’s unjust, and it sucks. It really does. But here we are. In spite of what we’ve lost, in spite of what we may yet lose, there’s still a lot worth fighting for. There’s a lot to protect. I’ve been fighting to save America from Donald Trump for nearly a decade, and I’m not going to stop now.

The thing is, the fight has changed. It’s still changing. Not everyone is up for it. We’ve got MSNBC hosts visiting Trump at his home to kiss his backside. We’ve got the New York Times calling for all criminal cases against Trump to be dropped. These cowards have clearly given up โ€“ and they were never on our side. It’s up to us to fight Trump.

But what’s this fight going to look like? I wish I had that kind of crystal ball. On the one hand, Trump is going to have unprecedented power. On the other hand he’s a dementia patient surrounded by inept buffoons. There are going to be numerous openings for us to exploit and use to our advantage. We’re going to win some of these battles. And it’s going to be worth it.

But this means Palmer Report is going to have to grow into the kind of juggernaut willing and able to fight back in a way that the mainstream media is refusing to even try to do. Palmer Report has to be bigger, stronger, you name it โ€“ and no corporate entities are coming along to help fund this kind of effort in this era.

This means I need your help to turn Palmer Report into the fighting machine that can lead this fight in the absence of the mainstream media. So I’m using this column to ask you to help fund Palmer Report’s growth effort. I promise you’ll be glad you did. I thank you in advance. Now let’s go fight the good fight.

Much thanks,
Bill Palmer
