Putin’s doppelganger
Anyone who follows my work knows EXACTLY to whom I refer when I say “Medusa’s brother.” This is Floridian Governor Ron DeSantis. I think DeSantis is actually far worse than Medusa at her worst. Because Ron DeSantis has chosen to start arresting good Floridians — for no reason at all. If you do not believe me, please view this footage.
It shows good people — bewildered people — being handcuffed. The people doing the handcuffing — the police — RON’s police — seem as baffled as the ones being arrested. The people being arrested are political pawns in a game enacted by a deranged Putin wanna-be. Perhaps DeSantis should be referred to as Putin’s doppelganger.
DeSantis is attempting to “punish” people for casting their votes. All he really wants to do, however, is flex some muscle. Ron DeSantis is an existential threat to democracy. He is an enemy of the people. He is someone who cannot be allowed to win another term. And he’s ahead in the polls.
Charlie Crist could really use some help about now. I want to see DeSantis defeated. I want to see this man’s political future go up in smoke. In the Tampa area, 19 people were arrested. It is a form of terrorism. Desantis wants to look tough, but he ALSO wants to suppress the vote. That’s obvious.
These prosecutions will likely not hold up, but the damage is done. DeSantis has probably scarred these people for life. He will continue his deranged methods of sticking it to innocent Floridians. Let’s not let him win.
