Putin just played Donald Trump
Donald Trump finally had his fantasy come true — he spoke to President Putin! Never let it be said that dreams don’t come true—or, as the case might be, nightmares. I say this because, according to multiple reports, this magical phone call did not go well.
First, let’s talk about what happened BEFORE the call. Putin reportedly put the insurrectionist and chief — wait for it — on hold. He was busy speaking to Russian oligarchs. While Trump waited. And waited…. And waited.
Now you know as well as I do that this was likely on purpose. My soul smiles thinking of Trump left dangling—as the one he adores so very deeply—let him sit on a telephone line that did not include Putin.
Poor Donnie. Poor, poor, little Donnie. But it gets worse. “He’s humiliating Trump.” According to many, Putin did not agree to a truce with Ukraine, although he made some limited promises. Only he did not keep them.

Look. I said it before and I’ll repeat it: I want peace in Ukraine. I do not care if Trump is the one who gets it. Only I am not sure Trump CAN get it because Trump is an orange bumble-f### who messes everything up repeatedly.
Undoubtedly, he thought his hero would be thrilled talk with him. I suppose it never occurred to him that he might get played, and if these reports are to be believed, this is precisely what has happened.
