Putin gives away that he’s out of options

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Putin is reportedly BEGGING China for help because things are getting worse for him. Per Raw Story, Putin is reportedly dismayed by all the “barriers” his military is facing. Ukrainians have continued and do continue to put up resistance, never giving up, and never giving in.

This is making Putin extremely upset. So Putin has pleaded with China for “equipment and other services.” Per the Financial Times, there is talk that Putin is running out of various weapons and wants China to step in.

The United States does not want that to happen, and our national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, will be speaking with China Foreign Policy official Yang Jiechi this week. Sullivan also issued a warning to China not to think about aiding Putin in his efforts to “circumvent the sanctions.” Putin has asked for help from China in getting around some of the sanctions.

“We will ensure that neither China nor anyone else can compensate Russia for these losses,” said Sullivan.

“In terms of the specific means of doing that, again, I’m not going to lay all of that out in public, but we will communicate privately to China, as we have already done and will continue to do.”

Reportedly, the reason for Putin’s seeking help from China is because of many mistakes that Putin himself has made. His forces have blundered and are still blundering, and a war Putin expected to win in days is stretching into infinity. And as reported, China may not have been fully aware of the destruction Putin would cause.

What will China do? None of us know at this point. What we do know is that Putin is becoming desperate. That doesn’t mean he will surrender — monsters like him rarely do. But this is just further evidence that Putin has locked himself into a battle that he absolutely cannot win.
