Donald Trump launches psychotically deranged attack on Nancy Pelosi, Stacey Abrams and others as it all falls apart for him
With the American death toll tragically crossing the hundred thousand mark in the coronavirus crisis, Donald Trump showed us how little he cares about America by going golfing today. Now that he’s back home, he’s showing us how little he seems to care about anything anymore.
Trump just posted a series of retweets that are disturbing even for him. He posted an image of Nancy Pelosi’s mouth duct taped shut, which evokes all kinds of misogyny. Trump then retweeted someone who claimed that potential Biden running mate Stacey Abrams has “visited every buffet restaurant” in Georgia, in apparent reference her weight. Then retweeted someone who referred to Hillary Clinton as “HRC the Skank.”
But Trump’s vicious attacks on women weren’t limited to his adversaries. In a misguided attempt at promoting his own White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, he retweeted a photoshopped image of her smoking a joint while holding a press briefing.
What is even going on here? Donald Trump has always been sick and twisted, particularly when it comes to women. Just look at how many women have credibly accused him of sexual assault over the years. But these tweets and retweets tonight… there are almost no words. Is he trying to find a way to get himself kicked out of office?
