Donald Trump goes on psychotic bender after the Wall Street Journal rips him to pieces
Just how much of a disaster is Donald Trump in the coronavirus crisis? Even the conservative Wall Street Journal is slamming his daily press briefings for being a “wasted” opportunity full of chest beating and misinformation. Naturally, Trump is unhappy about it:
.
The Wall Street Journal always “forgets” to mention that the ratings for the White House Press Briefings are “through the roof” (Monday Night Football, Bachelor Finale, according to @nytimes) & is only way for me to escape the Fake News & get my views across. WSJ is Fake News!

That’s right, Donald Trump is such a psychopath, he’s bragging about the TV ratings he’s getting for the press briefings he’s doing about a pandemic that’s killing thousands of Americans per day. He’s that far down the rabbit hole. The surreal part is that his press conference ratings are actually lower than that of Monday Night Football or the Bachelor – not that truth has ever mattered to this guy.
By the way, the Wall Street Journal is also asserting that these briefings aren’t helping Donald Trump’s reelection prospects. This is correct, of course. The latest polling averages show that Trump is about eight points behind Joe Biden, which is a terrible place for an incumbent to be – and it shows that Trump’s briefings aren’t helping him no matter how many or few people are watching.
