Donald Trump has “Proud Boys” debacle at Walter Reed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

On Sunday, Donald Trump posted a video thanking his supporters for coming out to Walter Reed to support him, with Trump flags and all. Perhaps these folks don’t realize that the hospital has other patients being taken care of, many of them our military heroes, but these folks are shouting and playing music and beeping their horns. The noise cannot be appreciated.

After the video, Trump promised his supporters a surprise and then led the entourage of cars through the small crowd, risking the lives of Secret Service members and many others for this stunt. Turns out, one of the admirers showing his support this weekend was Gavin McInnes, founder of the Proud Boys.

In what seems like a long time ago, but was just last week, Trump told the group to “stand down and stand by,” and they immediately took that phrase and used it for their own. A day later, Trump once again disavowed knowing who they are, but the reality is he also has failed to disavow white supremacy of any kind. All of this is amazing and should make clear that Joe Biden is the only choice on November 3.
