Joe Biden, full of energy and sharp as a tack, gave a speech and press conference today that ended up being one of his finest hours. Donald Trump never met a narcissistic opportunity he didn’t like, so he decided to hold his own press conference just now. But it only served to reveal there’s something very, very wrong with him today.

Donald Trump, to put it bluntly, looks half dead right now. His skin and face look more worn than usual. He has bags under his eyes. He looks like he hasn’t slept, hasn’t gotten any rest, and is on his last legs. He sounds like he’s completely depleted energy-wise.

Maybe Trump has been up all night trying to figure out how to deal with the blowback from his deranged remarks about U.S. military personnel. Or maybe Trump, who just finished quasi-admitting that he had a series of strokes, is simply in freefall health-wise. In any case, this press conference is a total disaster for him. It’ll do nothing to stop the bleeding.
