Donald Trump sounds mostly defeated and half dead during pathetic press conference
After two days of hiding from the public, Donald Trump stepped to the podium this evening and falsely declared that he’s winning the election based on “legal votes,” whatever that’s supposed to mean. MSNBC cut him off immediately and still hasn’t gone back to him. But we’re still watching, and now it’s just getting pathetic.
Donald Trump is trying to put on some bravado, but he sounds mostly defeated and half dead. He’s confusedly reading a speech from a piece of paper in front of him, and he’s rarely even looking up from it.
At various points Trump has attacked Philadelphia, appeared to claim that he once went to school at the “corrupt Democrats,” and shared some conspiracy theory involving binoculars. He’s completely unhinged; if you encountered someone ranting like this on a sidewalk, you’d cross the street to get away from him. But mainly Trump just sounds defeated and sad. This is pathetic.
