President Joe Biden slams “Donald Dump” during rousing campaign speech
President Joe Biden hit the campaign trail today for Kamala Harris and Maryland Senate candidate Angela Alsobrooks. Biden’s speech reminded everyone that he’s as savvy as ever, and infinitely more “with it” than the media pretended he was. Biden also used his speech as an opportunity to signal that, facing retirement, he really doesn’t care what he says anymore.
During his speech today, President Biden referred to Donald Trump as “the other guy” and then called him “Donald Dump.” No really, this happened:

It’s nice to see President Biden back out on the campaign trail, where he belongs. Maryland was just a warm up act. There are swing states where Biden is enduringly popular, and the Harris-Walz campaign will surely use him there. It’s also nice to see that Biden is now essentially free to say whatever he wants. If the media attacks him for the manner in which he attacks Trump, then too bad, because Biden isn’t running anyway. It sets up Biden to be a perfect Harris-Walz surrogate over these final eighty days.
