President Joe Biden just hit it out of the park

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

President Joe Biden has spent his first fifty days in office rolling up his sleeves and delivering results across the board, from a comprehensive COVID economic relief package, to a slew of executive orders aimed at undoing the former guy’s damage, to an ambitious vaccine rollout plan.

Now Biden has directly addressed the American public tonight, and he frankly hit it out of the park. Biden spoke from a place of humanity and empathy, out of respect for everyone and everything we’ve lost over the past year. Then he began serving up results.

Biden instructed states to open up the vaccination process to all Americans by May 1st, regardless of age. This is a huge deal, because it means Biden has enough vaccine supply in the pipeline to set such an ambitious timeline. This comes after Biden used the Defense Production Act to require Johnson & Johnson and Merck to work together to boost vaccine production.

President Biden also laid out the conditions under which Americans will be able to enjoy the Fourth of July under relatively normal conditions. And Biden said words that the former guy never would have been willing to say: “Listen to Dr. Fauci.”
