President-elect Joe Biden is expected to name his successful 2020 campaign manager, Jen O’Malley Dillon, as Deputy White House Chief of Staff according to NBC News. That’s one heck of a pick.

This comes after Biden named his own former VP Chief of Staff Ron Klain to be his White House Chief of Staff. Bloomberg also reported today that Congressman Cedric Richmond, a rising star in the Democratic Party, is taking a senior adviser position in the Biden White House.

What’s remarkable is that this is just the start. Joe Biden also had several other impressive campaign people like Karine Jean-Pierre, Cristóbal Alex, Rufus Gifford, Symone Sanders, and so on. We have no idea how many of these folks Biden might tap for the White House, but the point is that he has a deep bench to work with.

That’s before getting to Joe Biden’s cabinet, which could include several of his 2020 Democratic primary challengers, in what amounted to the most impressive presidential primary field in modern American history.
