President Biden’s one-two punch
It’s rare that politicians manage to give their adversaries nicknames that actually stick, but it can be devastating when it works. The fact that President Biden has managed to brand Donald Trump as “the former guy” and Ron DeSantis as “Governor Who?” is nothing short of remarkable.
It’s even more remarkable that unlike Trump, who tried handing out nicknames nonstop for four years and only got a few of them to sort of stick, Biden only does it on rare occasions and manages to land the punch every time.
