President Biden takes the fight to Ron DeSantis

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If the state of Florida could speak, I’m sure she’d be keening: “help us!” That’s because Florida has been going redder and redder these last few years — much to the dismay of many. DeSantis won the state by a large margin. It was a let-down for many, including myself.

But the good news is that President Biden does not intend to give up in the sunshine state — not a chance. Reportedly Biden is not giving up and even has a game plan for the state. Biden is appearing in Florida this week and wants to let the residents of Florida know he has not given up on turning the state blue — or at least a healthy shade of purple.

Part of Biden’s game plan is to appeal to seniors. Biden has that voting block in his sight, especially since that voting block depends on social security and medicare. And we know that the GOP, were they left to their own devices, would not do pleasant things with medicare or social security.

Reportedly Biden plans to stress the danger these voters would be in should they vote Republican. And I am glad to hear this. We should not give up on Florida. Yes, Governor DeSantis won reelection, but that does not mean we cannot still win there. And we should want to win. President Biden does.
