President Biden soars amid House Republican chaos
While the GOP continues to embarrass itself by propping up failed candidate after failed candidate for speakership, President Biden is busy running the country and bringing back its role as a diplomat for democracy on the world stage. He traveled to Israel on Wednesday where he made it clear that he stands with the Israeli people in the face of attacks from Hamas, while also supporting the possibility of a two-state solution.
A firebombing of a Gaza hospital recently made headlines, with Hamas blaming Israel for the attack, and much of the media began throwing its hands up in the air as to who is responsible. This has allowed for Hamas propaganda to spread, despite video evidence suggesting that it may have been a deliberate false flag attack by Hamas.
President Biden, however, set the record straight on his state visit – stating unequivocally that Israel was not responsible for the attack. However, rather than appearing partisan and merely taking the word of IDF officials or Netanyahu’s word for it, President Biden cited data brought to him directly from U.S. intelligence sources that showed why Israel was not responsible for the catastrophe.
It’s truly refreshing to have a president in the White House who believes and trusts our own intelligence sources, rather than taking the word of autocrats over what our own defense department finds, and will bravely travel to active war zones to stand up for democracy. We’re extremely fortunate to have such a capable leader during a time of crisis like this one and this is why we need to re-elect him in 2024.
