President Biden pulls the rug out from under Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One American presidential tradition that’s never made intrinsic sense, but up until now has always seemed relatively harmless, is the tradition of giving classified intelligence briefings to former U.S. Presidents. Of course now that career criminal and psychotic traitor Donald Trump is a former U.S. President, the tradition has to be reassessed.

When a reporter asked President Joe Biden today whether Trump should receive such briefings, Biden said “I think not.” When asked to explain further, Biden said “Because of his erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection.”

This is the perfect answer. Biden is sending a clear signal to the U.S. intelligence community that it needs to cut off Trump’s briefings immediately, and he’s also making clear that the move should happen regardless of whether Trump is convicted of inciting insurrection in his impeachment trial or in any inevitable criminal trial. This means Trump will simply be cut off.

This is vital for a few reasons. First, Trump is in a collapsing financial position and in bed with everyone from Russia to Saudi Arabia, so he’s a risk to sell U.S. secrets for cash. Second, now that Trump has launched a domestic terrorist attack against the United States, Biden’s move brings immediate consequences against Trump even as we all await his inevitable arrest.
