President Biden just reached actual Warp Speed
Donald Trump spent 2020 touting a program called Operation Warp Speed that was supposedly going to speed up the delivery of a vaccine. To give you an idea of what a joke this program was, the first U.S. vaccine ended up coming from Pfizer, which wasn’t even in the program. In other words, Warp Speed was yet another Trump boondoggle, and given his track record, likely a financially corrupt one.
Even as the worst of mainstream media pundits have made an effort this week to falsely give Trump credit for the vaccines, President Joe Biden has delivered actual progress. He recently used the Defense Production Act to force a major increase in vaccine production. As a result, a whopping 4.6 million vaccine doses went into American arms yesterday.
This number is nearly twice the previous single day record set earlier in the week. So this proves that the rapid increase isn’t merely because more people are coming due for their second shots. It means that Biden’s effort to ramp up vaccine production, along with his federal rollout of vaccination sites, has made a huge difference.
In other words, President Biden is actually hitting warp speed. When you consider that even more vaccination sites are being added each day, yesterday’s record-setting 4.6 million number could end up being surpassed in the coming days. The process is accelerating. It’s what competent governing and leadership looks like.
