The Biden administration now says it’s reviewing whether to revoke Trump’s intel briefings. Translation: President Biden is definitely revoking them, he just wants his team to issue a nuanced rationale for why, so it doesn’t appear partisan in the eyes of the average voter in the middle.

Biden has already proven that he’s going to do the things that we, the American left, want him to do. He’s just going to frame it in a way that keeps the people in the middle on board, because he understands that maintaining a majority coalition is the key to maintaining enough political muscle to keep doing the things that we on the left want him to do.

The most effective liberal leaders aren’t necessarily the ones who are the furthest to the left, or the ones who shout leftist rhetoric the most loudly. The most effective liberal leaders are the ones who know how to get the left’s agenda instituted by selling it effectively to the middle. That’s Joe Biden in a nutshell.
