President Biden just hit it out of the park

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It feels like ancient history to think about now, but when the former guy first launched his presidential bid back in 2015, he vowed he’d grow the economy with 25 million new jobs in a decade – part of his vaguely described plan that would make America sick of all the winning when he became president. It sounded grandiose and ridiculous because there were no specifics given – with the Trump 2016 platform being mostly all xenophobia and false promises and then Donald Trump would leave office with job creation in the negative millions following the COVID pandemic. In just two years, however, President Biden has managed to deliver on that promise – with the creation of over 12 million jobs since taking office. More than half a million – 517,000 were created in just January alone.

As more manufacturing plants continue to open in the coming year, we’re liable to see the number continue to climb – with unemployment at its lowest level in over 50 years. By 2024, we’re liable to see some of the most incredible job growth in history, with a whole lot for the Biden administration to run on. It’s long past time that the GOP can keep claiming that the only new jobs numbers are jobs brought back after the pandemic – Democrats have improved the economy by every objective measure – and it’s part of the reason why they were so successful in the last midterm. Let’s keep them getting elected through 2023 and 2024.
