President Biden comes out swinging at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner has traditionally been a place for the media, and the President of the United States, to have some fun at each other’s and their own expense. During the Trump era it became something else entirely. But now that we once again have a respectable (and sane) President like Joe Biden, the dinner is finding its footing again.
President Biden spent plenty of time making fun of himself during his speech tonight. But Biden also called out Donald Trump, quipping that age is an issue in this election because he’s a full grown man running against a six year old.
Elsewhere, dinner host Colin Jost called out Donald Trump multiple times for continually falling asleep during his criminal trial.
