Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
I was born with wanderlust. I always had the urge to wander, to see America, to know EVERY state’s culture, to explore the caves of Tennessee, to be soothed by the glorious tidewaters of Florida, to gaze out at the white mountains of New Hampshire, and to see theater at its finest in New York City. Once again, I have wanderlust, my friends. But this is metaphorical wanderlust. I want to wander only as far as the donation link, which must be a bit exhausting right now as it has just broken records. $540 million.
I repeat — $540 million. Yes, that’s something to write about. This is how much Kamala Harris has raised since the campaign launched. $540 Million. Do you KNOW how amazing that is? “The most for any presidential candidate ever.”
Also $82 million of that came just during the Democratic National Convention. Actions have ALWAYS spoken louder than words. There has been a lot of political action among voters, who also seem to have wanderlust—seemingly wandering by the thousands, to the “donate” button and clicking in “Donate to Kamala Harris.”
The Trump campaign is woefully behind. This news is likely making him furious, of course. Why wouldn’t it? The traitor competes — has these imaginary competitions for EVERYTHING. But MONEY — that relentless thing, the ONLY thing that moves Donald Trump – is now on Kamala’s side.
$540 Million. Wanderlust makes one feel adventurous. It makes one want to sail forth in the wind, fly high on wings of excitement, touch rainbows, and seek that ultimate reward—the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Looks Like Kamala Harris just found it.
