Police called on Lauren Boebert after she gets into a physical fight with ex-husband
House Republican Lauren Boebert’s life just keeps spinning out of control. Last year she was kicked out of a local theater production after she and her then-boyfriend were seen groping each other and vaping. Boebert has since decided to run in a far more right wing district in 2024, in the hope of finding her people. But her troubles keep getting uglier.
Boebert and her ex-husband reportedly got into a physical altercation in public over the weekend, which culminated in him calling the police on her, claiming that she was physically assaulting him. Boebert’s people now say that she was acting in self defense. It’ll be a matter for the police and witnesses to sort out. We’ll see who, if anyone, gets charged for it.
But the point is that Lauren Boebert’s life just keeps going further and further off the rails. For her it’s one scandal after another. That’s why she’s not necessarily improving her chances by moving to Colorado’s 4th House District. Yes, it’s a far right district where a Republican nominee automatically wins in a blowout. But at this rate she may have trouble winning the Republican nomination to begin with.
