This Trump idiocy has to be stopped
This week, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, on the solemn occasion of the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, decided to make this all about President Donald J. Trump, he who was “never a fan” of the Vietnam War. Repugnant Ronna stated: “We are celebrating the anniversary, 75 years of D-Day. This is the time where we should be celebrating our President, the great achievements of America, and I don’t think the American people like the constant negativity.”
No. Hell no. This day is not about celebrating the president. It is about recognizing those whom we can never repay for their bravery, courage, and leadership in ensuring our freedom. Just as the Fourth of July is not a rallying event for your Führer. It is not about that at all.
And perhaps tell Cadet Bone Spurs this – hurling insults at Nancy Pelosi and Robert Mueller in Normandy while those brave soldiers, many of them likely there at this every five-year commemoration for the last time given their advanced ages, sit waiting. Trump’s interview with Laura Ingraham included Trump stating he calls Nancy Pelosi “Nervous Nancy” and that she “is a disaster.” He then turned to Mueller, stating that “he made such a fool out of himself.”
Donald Trump is the one making a big ass Baby Trump fool of himself as always, destroying any dignity that attaches to any official duties he is supposed to be fulfilling. While we have him being a fool, we have the feckless GOP leadership silent about his destruction. Worse, we have Repugnant Ronna on television and on social media seeking glory for her foolish leader.
