Donald Trump reveals he’s more petrified of Nancy Pelosi than ever

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just how scared is Donald Trump when it comes to Nancy Pelosi? Nearly a month after she became Speaker of the House, he still has yet to even try to hit her with one of his customary derisive nicknames. The closest he’s come was “Nancy Pelosi – or Nancy, as I call her.” Now Trump is revealing that he’s even more petrified of “Nancy” than ever.

Donald Trump has given a lengthy new interview to the New York Times. As a reminder of just how commonplace Trump’s negative nicknames and insults are, he just gave an interview to the newspaper that he keeps referring to as the “failing New York Times.” But he still couldn’t bring himself to attack Nancy Pelosi, even a little bit. In fact you can almost hear the fear in his voice just by reading the words:

“I think Nancy Pelosi is hurting our country very badly by doing what she’s doing and, ultimately, I think I’ve set the table very nicely … I’ve actually always gotten along with her, but now I don’t think I will any more … I think she’s doing a tremendous disservice to the country.”

Uh, really? That’s the worst that Donald Trump can come up with in the midst of his bitter battle with Nancy Pelosi? He doesn’t think he’ll get along with her anymore? What next, will he threaten to stop chuckling at Pelosi’s jokes? Maybe next he’ll threaten to unfollow her on Twitter. It’s more clear than ever that Trump is petrified of Pelosi, and he still can’t work up the nerve to actually attack her.
