Over the weekend, an increasingly desperate Bernie Sanders went on ABC News and insisted that Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar had somehow been “forced” by the “democratic establishment” to drop out of the race and endorse Joe Biden. No one knows who or what this “establishment” is supposed to be, and the whole thing has become roughly as idiotic as Trump’s “deep state” nonsense.

This morning Pete Buttigieg appeared on the Today Show on NBC and promptly shut down Sanders’ unhinged conspiracy theory:

In his response, Pete Buttigieg displayed a level of leadership, political savvy, and humility that Bernie Sanders isn’t capable of. No wonder Buttigieg endorsed Joe Biden instead.
