Personal note: busy making other plans

Sometimes you think you know what’s coming next. I was fully expecting to spend the next few months simply working and focusing on the election. It’s crunch time, where I have to be fully focused on working, and to be honest the work is a lot more fun when we’re winning. But life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans, and suddenly my plans look a little bit different.

As of today I’m sitting here at my dad’s house in a small town in the middle of nowhere, so I can help him with some health issues he’s going through. So yeah, I’ll be here in the middle of nowhere for the next few weeks, driving my dad around the back roads in his pickup truck and eating at the only restaurant in town. No complaints. It’s just what you do when it’s called for. But it’s a different way of life, to say the least.

Don’t worry, I will continue working full time on political analysis. My schedule may be thrown off, but I’ll find a way to put in just as many hours each day as ever, seven days a week as always. This election is just too important. I’m not going to start taking days off now. It’s all gas no brakes, no matter what area code I might be in. That goes for all of you too. If we stick together and keep putting in the work we’re going to win this election. I believe in you, and I’m here with you. Now back to Palmer Report’s regularly scheduled political analysis later today.

Much thanks,
Bill Palmer
