Donald Trump has completely whacked out meltdown about pencils

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

More than 3.5 million Americans have now been infected with the coronavirus, more than 130,000 Americans have already died as a result, the pandemic is out of control, and the nation is desperate for leadership and help. So what is the so-called President of the United States focused on? Taking pencils away from kids, or something.

Donald Trump keeps proving to us that his psychological makeup is continuing to further unravel. For instance, instead of focusing on things like emergency medical equipment or vaccines or financial relief packages, he’s babbling about China and pencils.

According to CNN’s Daniel Dale, Trump actually said this today: “You had the globalists. They want to make everything in China. We can make our pencils here. We don’t need 57 pencils for every kid. You can have two. And look, I’m very upset with China.”

So here we are. In Donald Trump’s deranged and depleted mind, it’s somehow China’s fault that your kid has too many pencils – and he wants to make sure your kid has fewer pencils. It’s also not clear that Trump has ever used a pencil or understands how one works, as he seems to believe that a mere two pencils will last a student an entire school year. This guy belongs in a rubber room, not the Oval Office.
