GOP Congressman Paul Gosar goes off the deep end after being quarantined for coronavirus
We’ll say this for House Republican Paul Gosar: at least he was willing to quarantine himself after he learned that he’d potentially been exposed to the coronavirus. It’s the right thing to do. He’s trying to keep others from being infected. The trouble is, Paul Gosar is still Paul Gosar. He was a babbling idiot before he was quarantined, and now he’s… well, we’re not even sure what’s happening here.
After quarantining himself, Congressman Paul Gosar posted this incomprehensibly bizarre tweet:
Been thinking about life and mortality today. I’d rather die gloriously in battle than from a virus. In a way it doesn’t matter. But it kinda does. pic.twitter.com/m6vU5RTQHJ

Wait, what? We don’t even know what’s going on in that image. But after Paul Gosar announced that he has the “Wuhan Virus” instead of the coronavirus, in an racist attempt at blaming China for the whole thing, we’re left to wonder if this image is intended to convey some kind of xenophobic stereotype as well.
In any case, we wouldn’t wish coronavirus on anyone, so we hope all these Republicans in Congress end up not having it. And if they do have it, we hope they recover fully. The trouble is, they’re still the same ignorant idiots they always were, and unfortunately there’s no vaccine for that.
