Donald Trump just blew it so badly, he lost Pat Robertson
It’s difficult to find a more disgusting perversion of Christianity than the far-right, bloodthirsty, money-grubbing pile of radioactive vomit that comes out of the mouth of blasphemous fake preacher Pat Robertson on a daily basis. Naturally, Robertson has been a strong supporter of the worst person on earth, Donald Trump. But now even Robertson has had enough.
Pat Robertson says he’s “appalled” by Donald Trump’s decision to immediately pull U.S. troops out of northern Syria, which is allowing Turkey to invade and slaughter everyone in sight. According to a new video posted by Right Wing Watch, Robertson is now saying that Trump is “in great danger of losing the mandate of Heaven if he permits this to happen.”
We’re not even going to bother to try to parse the profoundly deranged logic that’s led Pat Robertson to loudly cheer for every other crime and atrocity that Donald Trump has committed, while somehow having a big problem with this particularly Trump atrocity. What matters is that, at a time when Trump is on thin ice and running out of allies, he’s desperate for anyone to speak up in his defense – and instead, Robertson is throwing him under the bus.
It’s worth keeping in mind that scumbag con artists like Pat Robertson, Tucker Carlson, and Mitch McConnell have to maintain relative credibility with their deranged audiences in order to remain in a position to continue committing fraud and promoting evil. If they sense that Trump is going down, they’re ultimately going to say and do whatever they need to do, in order to make sure his downfall doesn’t cost them their own position in the right wing toxic waste dump.
