It’s time for Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr to panic
Two major pieces of news today are adding up to spell sudden trouble – and perhaps imminent criminal consequences – for Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump. Common sense all along has said that Special Counsel Robert Mueller will go after Donald Trump first, and then his kids, so that Trump doesn’t start trying to pardon them – even as state and local authorities move in on Trump’s kids. That brings us to today.
First came the news that Robert Mueller is – as Palmer Report recently predicted – indeed planning to make his big move against Donald Trump shortly after the midterm elections in three weeks. We still don’t know precisely how Mueller will approach his attempted takedown of Trump, but that’s the whole point; Trump doesn’t know what’s coming either. This would suggest that Mueller’s federal indictments against Trump’s kids can’t be far behind. Then came big news out of New York City.
A few years back, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr were supposed to be criminally indicted for real estate fraud by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance. That fell apart just as Team Trump was stuffing money into Vance’s reelection campaign. Now today we’ve learned that the FBI is investigating whether Vance committed a crime by letting the Trump kids off the hook. Suffice it to say that the timing here is interesting. Why is the FBI suddenly moving on Vance now, six years after he let Ivanka and Don Jr off the hook? Is this Mueller’s way of ensuring that the Manhattan DA’s office goes ahead and makes moves against Trump’s kids now?
Maybe these two news stories today are part of a grand plan, or maybe it’s just a grand coincidence. But either way, just as Robert Mueller is preparing to move on Donald Trump, thus clearing the way for Mueller to move on Trump’s kids, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office is suddenly being shaken up with regard to its past failure to prosecute Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. It’s time for the entire Trump family to panic.
