Donald Trump just hit the panic button

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

What happens after you take your big swing and come up so embarrassingly empty, you’ve wrecked one of your own core campaign strategies in the process? You start trying to do damage control, and somehow spin your devastating loss into a win, which is precisely what Donald Trump is doing tonight.

Donald Trump declassified a Susan Rice email today which unwittingly exonerated the entire Obama administration, and proved that Trump and his allies have been flat out lying all along about pretty much everything. Now that the frankenstein monster of a phony scandal known as “Obamagate” is finished, Trump and his goons are scrambling.

Ted Cruz posted this unintentionally hilarious tweet: “Wow. Ongoing spying from an outgoing POTUS on the incoming POTUS—directed by Obama himself—is unprecedented in the 243 years of our nation’s history.” Trump then retweeted Cruz, adding “They got caught. Some very nervous criminals out there. Thank you Ted!”

This is the equivalent of a sports team getting blown out for all to see, and after losing, trying to run around the stadium in celebration, in the hope of tricking the audience into believing it just watched a victory. This is panic button territory. Trump is having a bad night.
