Pam Bondi just stepped in it
The stench of failure hangs around Pam Bondi like dog poop. She has been even worse in her position than we thought she’d be, and demonstrated that when taking questions from journalists. This was, of course about Signal-Gate. This little scandal has done more to wreck the Trump administration, in a few short days, then almost anything we’ve ever seen. It’s been a tornado out of nowhere that’s come in and the eye of the storm is now firmly on Capitol Hill, twisting and turning and taking Republican sanity with it..
So Pam Bondi invoked of all things Hillary Clinton‘s emails! I kid you not. She also invoked Joe Biden‘s classified documents(which he gave back). Hillary didn’t do anything wrong, and Biden did not either. But Bondi appeared so desperate to change the subject.
Pam is singing a very old song that she’s got on repeat. Actually, all Republicans have it on repeat. It’s their bag of stale tricks that they whip out whenever they’re asked questions they do not want to answer.
But the fact of the matter is Hillary Clinton isn’t the president. Neither is Joe Biden. This though, did not stop Bondi from putting on an outraged face, and (sigh) once again going over things nobody wants to hear about. Plus, what she said are lies anyway.
But this makes something quite clear. If Bondi, who leads the Department of Justice, cannot answer basic questions about the scandal that refuses to die, I honestly think that she should resign.
