One of Rudy Giuliani’s last remaining lawyers just quit

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Rudy Giuliani has famously struggled to find an dretain attorneys to represent him in the various legal cases against him, both because he’s an unstable whack job and because he can’t seem to pay his legal bills. Now Giuliani has lost another attorney today.

David Wolfe, and attorney representing Rudy Giuliani in the Fulton County criminal case, just filed to withdraw from the case. No reason is being given (yet). These things have a way of coming out after the fact. For now, it’s notable that Wolfe appeared to be one of the last attorneys Giuliani had left.

A few weeks ago Giuliani’s former attorneys filed suit against him for more than a million dollars in unpaid legal fees. At that point in time, Giuliani was still reportedly represented by Wolfe and two other attorneys. But now Wolfe is withdrawing.

The kicker for someone as unhinged as Rudy Giuliani is that it doesn’t really matter if he has competent attorneys representing him, because he’s not going to listen to competent legal advice anyway. Giuliani is insistent upon taking himself down in incoherent fashion. He blew the filings in the Ruby Freeman civil case so badly that the judge issued a summary judgment against him. And when Giuliani did a proffer interview with Jack Smith, it apparently went so poorly that Giuliani was then listed as a co-conspirator in the Trump indictment.

Rudy Giuliani is burying himself. The only question now is who else is going to jump off the Rudy train before it crashes. More to the point, are any attorneys foolish enough to take Wolfe’s place on Giuliani’s legal team? Stay tuned.
