On the verge of losing his assets, Donald Trump has unhinged meltdown about Mar-a-Lago

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump lost $83 million last week, and he’ll lose perhaps another $370 million as soon as this upcoming week. Since it’s unlikely that he has that kind of cash on hand, he’ll be forced to start selling off his assets (if there are any he’s not upside down on), or his assets could end up being seized.

So it’s interesting that Trump is suddenly ranting pretty obsessively about Mar-a-Lago, the one property he’s probably the most worried about losing. After Trump was forced from office, he made Mar-a-Lago his primary residence, seemingly in an attempt at fending off losing it in any bankruptcy proceedings. But even bankruptcy won’t protect Trump from court ordered asset forfeitures.

Oddly enough, Trump is now obsessively ranting about just how much Mar-a-Lago is supposedly worth. Sheesh, wouldn’t you think he’d be arguing that it’s worth very little, so the legal system might be more inclined to let him keep it?

As is so often the case these days, Trump’s obsessive ranting is giving away the topic that he fears the most – and he’s incoherently taking the wrong position in those rants. Fortunately for Trump, he won’t need a home when he’s in prison.
