October surprise
As we get nearer to election season, it is possible that a September or October surprise for Donald Trump is lurking just around the corner. I say this, because there is a very good chance that the man’s criminal cases could impact the election.
First off, we have the classified document case in Florida. Jack Smith is in the process of appealing to the 11th circuit. I do think at some point the case will be reinstated but it’s going to take a while and much could happen during the months of September and October in the form of filings.
Now let’s look at the January 6 case. Just this past Saturday Trump’s request to drop the case based on malicious and unfair prosecution was denied. Judge Chutkan didn’t even bother holding a hearing about it. This shows how competent judges work. Are you listening, Aileen Cannon?
We have Donald Trump‘s sentencing date for the New York criminal case of which he was found guilty. The sentencing date is right around the corner and we have no idea which way the judge is going to go on this.
And finally, there is Georgia. Trump appears to have violated the terms of his bail agreement in launching deranged attacks on certain Georgia government officials. That is a violation of his bail terms.
I am sure Kamala Harris will bring this all up. In addition there’s E. Jean Carroll, who, with the whisper of a smile, succeeded in destroying Donald Trump‘s life. Now he has his own crosses to bear, is a known sexual assaulter, a title that will be attached to him for the rest of his life.
So, in my opinion, we have not even scratched the surface yet of the crap that could rise up to impede Donald Trump’s run. Perhaps it won’t be a September surprise. Perhaps it won’t be an October surprise. Perhaps — only perhaps — it will be both.
