GOP Senators admit the ugly truth about Donald Trump behind his back
All you have to do is look at Donald Trump’s words, actions, and Twitter account to see that he’s nuts. We’re not talking about mental illness, which millions of people bravely struggle to overcome. We’re talking about “nuts” in the sense that he’s derangedly and maliciously mentally unstable. It turns out some Republican Senators agree with the premise.
Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill, who is about to exit the Senate after losing her reelection bid, is now free to say pretty much whatever she wants. She’s given a new interview to CNN, and she had this to say about her Republican Senate colleagues:
“They’ll tell you, if it’s just the two of you, ‘The guy is nuts, he doesn’t have a grasp of the issues, he’s making rash decisions, he’s not listening to people who know the subject matter.'”
This comes even as Donald Trump seems to be trying to make their case for them. He tweeted “I am all alone (poor me) in the White House” earlier today, before delusionally announcing that he had just signed a contract to build his imaginary border wall. It’s not clear why he’s still keeping the government shut down if he is now under the hallucination that his wall is being built after all.
