Notorious MTG
Trust Marjorie Taylor Greene to use the bizarre happenings in Russia as an excuse to betray America. Greene tweeted “After our government has been funding a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine for over a year, I sure hope our government isn’t behind a coup attempt currently happening in Russia. Regime change in a nuclear armed country may lead to terrible consequences the American people don’t want.”
Thus spoke the woman who helped plot an insurrection against her own government. Without a single shred of evidence (or conscious irony) she’s planted a seed that will take root in the rich and uncritical soil of MAGA Republican credulity. It’s a measure of how stupid most Trump-loving MAGA cretins are that they will instantly embrace this criminally irresponsible speculation as absolute truth, even (or perhaps especially) if it’s posited by the consummate liar Greene.
Well, give Marge her due, she’s finally found yet another way to stand up and declare “I stand with Putin” while almost making it sound patriotic. The truth of the matter is Putin has staged a proxy war in the United States and Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of its most notorious and obnoxious leaders.
Greene is first on the scene with any conspiracy theories no matter how damaging or stupid. Recall she started political life as a 9/11 “Truther,” arguably the most vile and moronic conspiracy theory ever conceived and believed by the dumbest people in America. Then she created her very own “Jewish space laser” conspiracy theory as a way to “explain” wildfires in California, a concoction so idiotic that even the likes of Lauren Boebert repudiated it.
As long as she’s once again taking Putin’s side, MTG will be delighted to know that Prigozhin and his Wagner group have withdrawn to Belarus. Once again her hero Vladimir is safe, apparently, and Marjorie can breathe another traitorous sigh of relief.
When he’s done investigating Donald Trump, and that traitor is on trial and heading for prison, I hope Special Prosecutor Jack Smith will turn his own prosecutorial space laser on the anti-American traitor Marjorie Taylor Greene. Few people have done more to harm America than the notorious turncoat from Georgia. And, as ever, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, comrades and friends, stay safe.
