“Not welcome here”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As if Donald Trump didn’t have enough problems! “Not welcome.” It’s been quite a week (and a month) for Mr. Traitor. Now Trump can add being rejected — and badly — to his incredible list of accomplishments.

“You are not welcome.” Like many of his fellow residents, border resident Jesse Fuentes chastised Trump for his appearance at the border. Fuentes held a press conference to explain that Donald Trump is hurting the community. And he sent a message — loud and clear — to Donald Trump himself.

“This unwanted attention and militarization of our community are unwelcome. You’re not welcome.” Residents of border towns say they are sick and tired of seeing their community “turned into a military zone.”

They are sick and bloody tired of being used by Trump as political pawns in some ridiculous game of election chess. Residents also say they’re pissed Trump blocked the Bi-partisan border bill, which, of course, the traitor only did so he could try and have it as a campaign issue.

So yes, some of these border residents participated in a press conference where they said they did not and will not welcome Donald Trump at the border. “You’re hurting the people that need the most help.”

Of course, he’s hurting them, and of course, he does not care because Donald Trump has no idea what it’s like to care about another human being. The border doesn’t mean much to him except as a wedge issue he can try and use. And that does not and will continue not to sit well with the people in those communities.
