NOT EVEN CLOSE

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

After signing a series of executive orders that defund Social Security and Medicare, and won’t stand a chance in court, and aren’t even really executive orders, Donald Trump decided not to bother holding another quasi-press conference full of drunk patrons at his country club. Instead his focus is elsewhere.

Trump really, really, really wants you to know how much he resents the fact that former White House official Anthony Scaramucci has turned against him. Trump wants you to know that he thinks Scaramucci is a “loser.” Trump also wants you to know that he’d love to be on Mount Rushmore, yet he thinks CNN and the New York Times are somehow “fake news” for accurately reporting that he’d love to be on Mount Rushmore.

Trump’s focus clearly is not on what it should be. Not even close. The guy is off in la la land, tweeting about old grievances and delusions of grandeur, at a time when he’s falling out of contention for reelection, and he’s going to prison if he loses. Trump has taken his eye completely off the ball. It’s an opportunity for you to drive Trump’s numbers even lower by keeping your eye on the ball.
