No, you idiot!
After seeing a segment on Fox News tonight about why schools should open, Donald Trump tweeted this: “Schools in our country should be opened ASAP. Much very good information now available.” No. Just no. Trump, you’re an idiot. Let’s count the ways.
1) Even though very few kids get sick from coronavirus, they’ll still pass it to each other, and take it home to their parents.
2) Teachers will get sick. So will janitors, lunch ladies, principals, and everyone else who works at the school.
3) School is letting out for summer anyway, so why is this even an issue? Donald Trump has a school-age son, yet he appears to have no idea that the school year is ending. This is a debate for when the new school year begins in the fall, not now.
4) Trump just gave away that after he spent the first part of the day golfing, he’s now spending the second part of the day watching cable news and tweeting about it. This guy never even pretends to be doing the job for which he wasn’t legitimately elected to do.
