No wonder Trump lawyer John Eastman has been panicking

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The January 6th Committee has been fighting a public battle in court to try to obtain emails that Trump election lawyer John Eastman sent and received with regard to the 2020 election, and the DOJ has surely fought a private battle to obtain them as well. Eastman has gone to great lengths to try to delay the inevitable release of these emails, which he was dumb enough to send from his university’s email address, and were always going to surface eventually. Sure enough, they now have.

Politico now has at least some of the Eastman emails, and is reporting that Eastman flat out told a Pennsylvania official to throw out votes for Biden and declare Trump the winner in the state. This easily proves Eastman guilty of election fraud, and likely ropes him in on seditious conspiracy.

No wonder Eastman fought so hard to try to keep these emails from seeing the light of day. At his age, the criminal charges he’s going to face will put him in prison for much or all of the rest of his natural life – unless he cuts a plea deal against Donald Trump. Eastman clearly didn’t want to be forced into this decision. But now that his incriminating emails have inevitably surfaced, he’ll be forced to make a decision. Will he throw his life away in order to protect Trump, or will he throw Trump away in order to save himself?
