No wonder Rudy Giuliani has been going so far off the deep end

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last night Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox News – which should have been friendly territory for him – and it went so poorly for him, he ended up screaming “Shut up, you don’t know what you’re talking about, you idiot” at one of his fellow panelists. This represents a level of frantically unhinged derangement that’s off the charts even by Rudy’s usual histrionic standards. Now we know why.

This morning the Trump regime released a summary of the phone call that Donald Trump had with the president of Ukraine. It proves beyond any doubt that, after Trump cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Ukraine, he then asked the president of Ukraine to promote a phony scandal against Joe Biden. This is a clear cut attempt at altering the outcome of the 2020 election. It’s also a criminal conspiracy. At the center of the summary: Rudy Giuliani.

The summary reveals that Donald Trump really did ask the president of Ukraine, multiple times, to criminally conspire with Rudy Giuliani against Joe Biden. Trump said “Rudy very much knows what’s happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great.” One page later, Trump said “I will tell Rudy and Attorney General Barr to call.”

In other words, there is now every reason to believe that Rudy Giuliani (and Bill Barr) subsequently called the president of Ukraine in an effort to further this criminal conspiracy against the United States. No wonder Rudy has been going off the deep end. His life is over. He’ll spend the rest of it in a prison cell.
