“No way in hell”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Chris Christie is making what would ordinarily be a really boring Republican primary very bright and colorful. It doesn’t seem a day can go by without Christie dissing Donald Trump in some way and I’ll tell you something. It is beautiful to see.

Oh, and Christie is continuing to expressed his dislike of Donald Trump. The latest Christie comments come from an interview he did with NewsMax. NewsMax is a pretty conservative organization, and in some ways they make Fox Bob-News look middle of the road, but a lot of the Republican candidates have been going on NewsMax, and Christie is no different in that regard

During the interview, a lot of questions were raised, but the one that really caught peoples’ attention was the following: If Trump asked you, would you be his vice president on the ticket? I’m surprised the answering roar didn’t break any windows or even start a volcano. One can imagine the look on Chris Christie face as he summed up his answer in just a few words. No way in hell!

Can you really blame him? What a silly question to ask. I spoke to Mike Pence and the job is really not a very good one Christie added. Now that question had no business being asked in the first place.

Anyone with a brain would know that Christie is not going to be Trump‘s vice president during Trump’s fake candidacy. It was still great however, that when the question was asked, Christie responded so quickly and with such certainty.

That was not it though. The interviewer Eric Bolling actually asked Christie why he was running. Was it to fill some primal emotional need, Bolling asked? If I were Christie I’d have walked off the interview. What Christie did was great though. I didn’t know you were a psychologist, Eric Christie snarled. I imagine it might be a bit of time before Christie goes back on NewsMax.
